DEATH OF GEO. L. MILES AT OAK GROVE.
Saturday, August 20th.
George L. Miles passed away at the home of this brother, R. J. Miles, whom he had been visiting. The deceased had been in declining health for several years, but for several days just before he passed away he seemed to be much improved and came to spend a few weeks with his brother in hopes he might gain his strength.
He leaves eight children to mourn his passing away.
His wife preceded him to the grave several years ago.
He was laid to rest beside her in the Spray, N. C., cemetery.
