Lucille B. Bressette, 71, of Tiger Hill Rd., Poland, died unexpectedly Tuesday June 15, at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.
She was born in Norway on May 1, 1939, the daughter of Edward and Marguerite (Johnson) Paine. She grew up and attended schools in the Oxford area.
She worked all of her life as a home health care provider assisting many people in need.
She had a love for animals and especially enjoyed taking care of her flower gardens.
She is survived by and will be sadly missed by her husband, Robert Bressette of Poland; her children, Tina Conley of Wilton, Janice Conley and husband, Harold, of Dixfield and George R. Gilks Jr. and wife, Colleen, of Mass.; her mother, Marguerite Llewellyn of Tenn.; 14 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and by her many brothers and sisters.
She was predeceased by her first husband, George Haggett; her father; her daughter, Teresa Lare; and a brother, Gregory.
Graveside services and interment will be held on Friday, June 25, at 1:30 p.m. at the Worcester County Memorial Park in Worcester, Mass. Arrangements under the care of Oxford Hills Funeral Services, 1037 Main St., Rt. 26, Oxford.
