Meagan Patricia Stokes Smith, 29, of Hannibal, died at 8:25 a.m. Thursday, January 14, 2010 at her home.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January, 19, 2010 at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Monday, January 18, 2010 from 5 pm to 8 pm at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal.
Burial will be at a later date at Bowling Green Memorial Gardens.
Meagan was born August 18, 1980, in Hannibal, Missouri to Claude James and Dorothy Irene Couch Stokes.
Other survivors include 2 Daughters, Breannah Stokes and Avaleigh Stokes, 2 Sisters, Cindy Miles (Mike) of Hannibal, MO, Cathy Billings (Darin) of Vandalia, MO, 2 Nephews, Michael and Patrick Miles, 4 Nieces, Hillari and Heidi Miles, Jennifer McCurdy and Jessica Billings, Aunts, Faye Smith, Joy Fairchild, Esther Lybarger and Laura Stokes, and Uncles; Richard and Lee Stokes and Bill and Tommy Couch and many cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents; Claudine Palm, Jessie Theerman, Henry Couch and Alfred Stokes and 1 aunt; Becky Stokes.
Meagan worked various jobs, including Preferred Family Healthcare where she got her desire to work with adolescents, She was pursuing a degree in psychology and was planning on entering the RN program at Hannibal LaGrange College. She loved spending time with her daughters and her family and she enjoyed being outside.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Family in care of the James O'Donnell Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Mike Miles, Darin Billings, Aaron Fairchild, Justin Fairchild, Boyd Fairchild and Austin Stokes.
Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Miles and Patrick Miles.
