Pauline Olive Harding, 96, passed away July 16, 2010, at Foxwood Springs. She was born, Aug. 27, 1913, in Turon, Kan., to Orville M. Evans and Jesse Bellwood Evans. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 21, at McGilley & George Funeral Home, 611 Chestnut, Belton, Mo. Graveside services 2 p.m. Thursday, July 22, at Turon Cemetery with visitation 1 to 2 p.m. at Larrison Funeral Home, 400 N. Martin St., Turon. Contributions can be directed to Turon Senior Citizens Center. Pauline moved to Belton in 1952. She was a member of the United Methodist Church. She was a secretary for over 20 years at the Cambridge Elementary School in Belton. She loved to cook and knitting was her hobby and she loved to make things for the grandchildren and great grandchildren. Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Harding in 1997 and an infant son, Larry. Her two brothers, Arnold and Dale Evans. She is survived by sons, Dennis Harding and wife Suzan of Raymore, Mo., and Gary Harding and wife Retta of The Woodlands, Texas; grandson Zachary Harding and wife Di and granddaughter, Whitney Harding; seven great great-grandchildren.
