Brett Robert Taylor, 51, passed through this life and into a pain free, peaceful heaven on July 14, 2010. He resided at 4499 West 3040 South in the Granger area of West Valley City, Utah at the time of his death.

He was born May 27, 1959 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He graduated from Cyprus High School in 1977. He married Terry Wright, later divorced. Brett worked at Kennecott for many years at the refinery and driving trucks in the mine. He currently worked for Boeing and considered his co-workers true friends. He had many friends and neighbors.

Brett loved Pink Floyd, the Dallas Cowboys, and mashed potatoes. His heart was big enough for everyone. He was non-judgmental and loved everyone for who they were. He touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed. He truly loved his Savior.

He is survived by his mother, Ann (Sharon) Rushton, father, Jim (Norma) Taylor, siblings; Debbie (Bob) McAllister, Karen (Dale) Bingham, Steve Rushton, Michelle Taylor, eight nieces and nephews, five great-nieces and nephews and special friend/son Troy Wright. He is preceded in death by his precious Grandpa and Grandma Reid.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 West 2700 South, Magna. Viewings will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 19, 2010 at the mortuary and from 11:00-11:45 a.m. prior to the services.
Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
