Had 6 Children: Kenneth Hannah, Betty Smith, Carrol Hannah, John Hannah, Roy Hannah, and Kent Hannah. Two other children who died at birth and are buried in the Old Palestine Cemetery in Alto Texas. One named William Dee Hannah and the other Baby Boy Hannah.

Services for Faye Hannah 78 of Diboll, will be held at
2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bonner Magness officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.

Mrs. Hannah was born on January 15, 1917, in Cherokee County, Texas; and she died on Friday, July 7, 1995, in a Lufkin hospital.

Mrs. Hannah was a homemaker and mother. She was a member of the Burke Baptist Church, and had lived in Diboll most of her life.

Survivors include her husband, Dee Hannah of Diboll; daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Morris Smith of Diboll; sons and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Jeanell Hannah of Nacogdoches, Carroll and Sue Hannah, John and Nancy Hannah, Roy Hannah, Kent and Cheryl Hannah, all of Diboll; nineteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; sister, Mildred Glover of Wells; brothers, Ernest McCarty of Nederland, Troy McCarty of Lufkin. She also raised two grandchildren from early childhood Deborah Hannah Hambrick and Steven Hannah.

Pallbearers will be John Lynn Hannah, Jamie Hannah, Brian Hannah, David Smith, Morris Smith, Jr. and David Weeks.
