BALLINGER Eva Lavern (Barrington) Blythe danced her way across the skies into the arms of Jesus Friday, Aug. 27, 2010, after a long illness. She was laid to rest in the Evergreen Cemetery, beside her beloved Bill, through the compassionate care of Lange Funeral Home in Ballinger. Eva was born March 30, 1931, to Blondie and Rosie Barrington, sister to seven siblings. She was the wife of Samuel David (Bill) Blythe who went to meet the Lord in 1983. She was the mother of four - Kathy Rosser, Rita Dickinson (who made her journey to Heaven in 2008), Sadie Lewis and Cecilia Redman; grandmother of seven; great-grandmother of 22; and great-great-grandmother of two. She wore many hats during her 79 years on earth and now she wears the crown of glory that she so richly deserved as a child of God. Eva's final words (written by hand) to her family were: "I love you all. I'll be waiting for you. Walk slowly down that path and I'll find you." Mother and Gram Eva's family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the many "angels" from Concho Health and Rehab in Eden and VistaCare Hospice in San Angelo. Your loving care and dedication to keeping her comfortable and pain-free during the last ten months were a blessing. Each of you were, are and always will be loved and greatly appreciated. God bless and keep you.
