William Warren, 89, Muncie, died Wednesday at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. He was a former Muncie policeman, had worked in the furnace business and had also farmed in Jay County. He was born near Union City and lived most of his life in and near Muncie.

Surviving are two sons, Thomas W. Warren, Portland, and Kenneth Warren, Louisville, Ky.; three daughters, Mrs. Glen (Jane) Thornburg, Matthews, Mrs. Ervin (Elvie) Koop, Albany, and Mrs. Clarence Conn, Wolcottville.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Thornburg Funeral Home, Parker City. Burial will be in Lisbon Cemetery near Union City. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and before Friday services.
