Joseph first married Sarah Carpenter (1819-1848) on 04 Mar 1835 in Fairfield Co., OH.

He then married Melinda, also has been spelled Malinda (1832-1919) on 04 Sep 1848 in Fairfield Co., OH. They had 13 children!

I THINK these stones were purchased later, as there is several dates incorrect. The spelling for Alspaugh is also Alspach, although his grandson states that they spelled it Alspaugh.

Joseph's parents were Henry Alspaugh, Jr. (1773-1825) [#31140125] and Anna Marie Hener (1779-1850). They are buried at Old Betzer Cemetery, Fairfield Co., OH.

Henry's parents are: Heinrich Reinhardt Alspaugh (1710-1763) [#47433507] and Catharina Stein (1746-1832) [#52247820], also buried at Old Betzer Cemetery.

Heinrich's parents are Reinhardt R. Alspach (1710-1763) [#47433507] and Anna Magdalena Bradstaetter-Ohlinger (1714-1763) [#52246950].
