The Fort Wayne native retired in 1973 from Fort Wayne Parks Department, and was the widower of Luella, who died in 1972.
Surviving are nieces and nephews.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday in the church, with burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens. Calling is 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, and 10 to 11 a.m. Friday in the church.
