Anna Lee Blackburn, 78, Liberty, passed away Sunday, July 20, 1997, at Woodbine Healthcare & Rehabilitation Centre, Gladstone, MO. Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Wednesday, July 23, at Church-Archer-Pasley Funeral Home, Liberty; burial in Fairview Cemetery.
Mrs. Blackburn was born on Oct. 29, 1918 in Mammoth Spring, AR, and has lived in this area since 1962. She was a member of Assembly of God Church, Liberty. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Clarence Blackburn, on Sept. 25, 1974. Survivors include four children, Clarence E. Blackburn, Fayetteville, NC, Betty Lee Kerwood, Stanwood, MI, Mildred Ruth Whitesell, Oklahoma City, OK, and Robert E. Blackburn, Liberty; a brother, Erwin Cowen, Mammoth Springs, AR; two sisters Zee Applegate, Cedar Falls, IA and Elsie Miller, Lee's Summit; a sister-in-law, Rachel Cowen, Shenandoah, IA; 12 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
