Mrs. Jeanette Mooney Bryant, 84, of Oakwood, and formerly of Buford, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 7, 2010, following an extended illness. Mrs. Bryant was born Jan. 17, 1925, in Forsyth County to the late Spencer King and Fannie Puckett King. She is preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Richard Mooney. Mrs. Bryant lived in Buford most of her life and was a long time employee of Chicopee Mfg. She also worked in central supply for Joan Glancy Hospital and Gwinnett Medical Center. She was a member of Roanoke Baptist Church in Cumming.
Visitation will be held Friday, Jan. 8th from 4 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 9th from 1 to 3 p.m. at Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 9th at 3 p.m. at the chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Hulsey and the Rev. Farrell Presley officiating. Interment will follow at Roanoke Baptist Church Cemetery in Cumming.
