Sidney John Cook was born November 21, 1934 to Leo and Gladys Ehresman Brennan in Tipton, Iowa and named Lee Oliver Brennan. After the death of his mother he was adoped by Sidney Cook and his grandmother, Mary Psota Brennan Cook at which time his name was changed to Sidney John Cook. He attended school in California and Tipton High School while growing up. On September 28, 1965, Sidney married Klarene Marie Brown in Kelly, Wyoming. Sidney was a past member of the Masonic Lodge. He was a farmer and part time school bus driver in Mt. Vernon. Sidney also worked as a carpenter and in construction.
