Ralph Coleman Oller was born July 9, 1905 to William and Elida Heaton Oller in rural Comanche County. He attended Avilla School and Coldwater High School and then he returned to the home farm to live.
Gertrude Elida Nokes was born the third child of Sidney and Martha Nokes, August 26, 1905 in Whitehorse, Oklahoma. She went through the Coldwater schools.
Ralph and Gertrude went to school together and married August 23, 1925. They lived on the farm near Antioch for years and there their children were born: Wanda Lou, October 1, 1927; Carol Sue, February 6, 1933; Sharon Marie, August 23, 1935. All three girls graduated from Coldwater High School. Then the family moved to Wichita. Ralph worked at Sears.
