Matthew Abel Hargrove – 20, of Ooltewah, TN, passed away Wednesday – July 14, 2010, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was a 2008 graduate of Ooltewah High School and was employed with McKee Foods, Incorporated. Matthew's greatest loves in life were his fiancée Molly Martin, family, UT Vols and fishing.
He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, T. C. Hargrove.
Survivors include his parents, Don and Tonya Hargrove, brother, Michael Hargrove, all of Benton, TN, fiancée, Molly Martin, of Ooltewah, TN, grandparents, Billy and Karen Azbell, of Manchester, TN, Buddy and Dianne Mahaney, of Selmer, TN, Frances Hargrove, of Murray, KY, and loving uncles, aunts and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Keith Greer and Rev. Jerry Campbell officiating.
Interment will be in Tyner Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., Saturday and 12:00 – 2:00 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.
