Mrs. Mollie Catherine Gregg

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 o'clock for Mrs. Mollie Catherine Gregg, 71, conducted by the Rev. J. W. Kitchens, from the Double Springs Methodist Church, with Oliver Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alex Phelps and was born in Choctaw County. She married T. R. Gregg in 1893. She died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. L. M. Ray, Starkville, following an illness of two months. She was a member of the Double Springs Baptist Church.

Surviving are three sons N. L. Gregg, Starkville, Odie Gregg, Maben, and Felix Gregg, Myrtle; eight daughters, Mrs. L. H. Turner, Mrs. D. T. McMinn, Mrs. J. T. Garrard and Mrs. H. C. O'Neal, all of Maben, Mrs. K. E. Mullen, Itta Bena; Mrs. W. T. McCormick and Mrs. L. M. Ray, Starkville, Mrs. J. E. Chancellor, Pelahatchie; two brothers J. H. Phelps, Starkville, and J L. Phelps, Mathiston.
