Logan West, 72, Succumbs Here
Logan West, 72, manager of the
Castle Court Apts, 822 Queen Anne
Ave., died Friday in Seattle General
Hospital.
He was born in Stodddard County,
Mo., and lived in Seattle 49 years,
coming here from Colrado, where he
had been in the contracting business.
For 25 years he had been a constructiion
engineer for Standard Oil Co. of Calif.,
and for the past six years manager of the
Castle Court Apts.
Mr. West served on te board of trustees
of Settle Pacific College and of the Lebanon
House and for many years, had been head
usher and a board member at the First
Methodist Church. For the past several
years he was a member of the First
Evangalist United Brethren Church,
where he served as a class leader, Sunday
School teacher and board member.
SURVIVING are his wife, Esther , one
daughter, Mrs. Mary Jane Ruel, Seattle;
one sister, Mrs. Rose Muir, Englewood,
Cailf., and one granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held in the
First Evangelial United Brethern Church
at 3 p. m. Monday with burial in Mount
Pleasant Cemetery. Funeral arrangements
are under direction of Arthur A. Wright
and Son. The Family has requested that
any remembreances be in the form of
contriburions to the Memorial Fund of
First Evangeical United Brethren Church.
