Florence A. Krebs
SHREWSBURY - Florence A. (Miller) Krebs, 94, of the Barbara J. Egan Nursing Center, died Friday, July 16, 2010, at the home. She was the wife of the late Clayton R. Krebs.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, with her pastor, the Rev. J. Thomas Shelley, officiating. Burial will be held at Zion (Shaffer's) Church Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Krebs was born on June 18, 1916, in Codorus Township, a daughter of the late Allen A. and Annie F. (Ferree) Miller.
She retired in 1979 after being employed as a seamstress for over 30 years at the former Bernstein Sewing Company in York and with several other local sewing companies. She was lifelong member of Zion (Shaffer's) United Lutheran Church, Seven Valleys, and was a member of the Sunday School.
Florence leaves nieces, nephews, and cousins.
