Mr. Richard D. Phillips
GRAHAM - Mr. Richard Dalton Phillips, 50, of 20 Cates Circle Drive, Apt. A, died Sunday morning, Aug. 15, 1999, at Alamance Regional Medical Center.
A native of Guilford County, he was the son of Mrs. Ruth Ellen Gerringer Caldwell, who survives, and the late Mr. Elmo Willie Phillips. He was a Baptist.
Survivors other than his mother of Burlington include a son, Mr. Shannon Phillips of Graham; two sisters, Mrs. Julie Ann Walker and Mrs. Cindy Lopes, both of Burlington; a brother, Mr. James P. Phillips of Burlington; and one grandchild.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Rich and Thompson Chapel in Burlington by the Rev. Jackie Franks, pastor of Kimesville Road Baptist Church. Burial will be in Kimesvile Road Baptist Church cemetery.
The family will be at Rich and Thompson Mortuary in Burlington from 7 to 9 this evening.
