Funeral services for Mr. Robert 'Bob' Parks, age 97, of Fayetteville, TN, formerly of Nashville, TN, who passed away Saturday, June 12, 2010 at the Donalson Care Center, conducted graveside in the Algood City Cemetery in Algood, TN with Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Parks was a native of Conemaugh, PA, the son of the late Dallas Russell & Ida Hermann Parks.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII, former Commander of the 80th Division Veterans Association; a member of the Washington Street Church of Christ and retired from the U.S. Corp of Engineers.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years: Pauline Moredock Parks of Fayetteville, TN; sister: Arlene Grove and husband: Ray of Johnstown, PA; sister-in-law: Bettye Silvey & husband: Ancil of Fayetteville, TN; 3 nieces: Michelle Grove, Deborah Skiles and Pamela Roberson.
