Mrs. Cecil R. Mussat

Mrs. Cecil Ruth Mussat, Emporia, Rt. 4, who was injured in a car accident Christmas morning, died in the Newman Memorial County hospital Tuesday afternoon at 4 o'clock.

Funeral service will be held at 3 o'clock Friday afternoon in the Roberts-Blue chapel conducted by the Rev. F.J. Reynolds, pastor of the Grace Methodist church. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery.

Mrs. Mussat, a daughter of Leonard E. and Margaret R. Greenup, was born May 1, 1927, at Cambridge, Kas. She married August Mussat Jr., a Girard in December 1944, and they moved to Emporia in 1946. Mr. Mussat was killed in a car accident August 18, 1952 [may have been October 18, 1952]. She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard E. Greenup, 501 South Exchange; a son, Leonard A. Mussat, and a daughter, Katherine Rose Mussat, of the home, and one brother, Leonard G. Greenup, 502 South Exchange.
