Ruth L. (Wagoner) Darragh, 77, Delphi, died unexpectedly at 1:26 P.M Saturday, Nov. 17, 1984, in Home Hospital where she had been admitted earlier in the day.

Born Nov. 19, 1906, in Burrows, her parents were Edward D. and Delia S. Replogle Wagoner. Her marriage was Sept. 16, 1933, in Wabash to Clarence A. Darragh. He preceded in death in 1966.

Mrs. Darragh was an elementary school teacher at Hillcrest, New Hope, Yeoman, Burrows and Woodville. She retired from Hillcrest in the early 1970s.

Her memberships include First Presbyterian Church in Delphi, Gamma Alpha Chapter of Tri Kappa Sorority, and Retired Teachers Association. She is a 1925 graduate of Delphi High School and received her teaching certificate from Ball State Teachers College.

Survivors include one brother, Dr. George Wagoner, Delphi, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister.

Services were Tuesday at Horn Funeral Home with Rev. Ellis Gasser officiating. Burial was in Maple Lawn Cemetery, Flora. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or donor's favorite charity.
