Phillip L. Jackett
A Drummonds farmer, Phillip Lawrence Jackett died unexpectedly on Saturday morning at Tipton County Memorial Hospital. He was 54.
He was a son of Julia Rose Jackett of Drummonds and the late Phillip Jackett. His wife is Nettie Louise Jackett.
Funeral Services for Mr. Jackett, affectionately known as "Booey", were conducted on Monday afternoon in the chapel of Munford Funeral Home. Rev., Arnold Lawrence led the services and burial was in Poplar Grove Cemetary.
In addition to his mother and his widow, survivors include seven sons, Kenyon, Maurice and Roger Dale Jackett of Burlison, Donald Jackett of Brighton, Rickey Jackett of Jackson and William and Phillip Jackett III of Drummonds; six daughters, Nina Lou Richardson and Judy Fletcher of Covington, Bonnie Cothran of Brighton, Louise McPeaks of Munford and Linda and Brenda Jackett of Drummonds, along with 11 grandchildren.
