Bio: Charles Ambrose Bartlett married Marie Antoinette 'Nettie' Dodge on 12 May 1871 in Exira, Audubon County, Iowa. They had 11 children. Most of Nettie's life was spent in Exira, although they farmed in southwest Hamlin, IA for 9 years, before moving into Exira, IA where they owned a livery for 7 years, then took advantage of an offer of government land in northwest Nebraska and farmed there for 15 years until drought brought about their return to Exira.
