Born Aug. 27, 1882, in Muddy Creek Township, Butler County, she was the daughter of John and Eva Bloom Barkley.
She was a member of the Oak Grove United Presbyterian Church, and the Adult Bible Class.
Her husband George Dambaugh, died in 1938.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Frank C. Reed of New Castle, a son, Ernest B. Dambaugh of Poetersville R.D. 1; a brother, Sherman Barkley of Mars; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
DAMBAUGH-Friends of Mrs. Sarah Josephine Dambaugh of New Castle R.D. 6, formerly of Muddy Creek Township, Butler County, who died Monday, March 24, 1969, will be received at the Robert A. Myers Funeral Home, 208 N. Jefferson St., New Castle, form 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday from the funeral home, with the Rev. Cecil Bailey, pastor of the Oak Grove United Presbyterian Church, New Castle, officiating. Burial will be in Portersville United Presbyterian Cemetery. Arrangements by Myers.
