Several years after Joseph died, Ida married John Poe and had a son Napoleon Bonaparte. In 1900, she, John, and their son Boney were living in Lexington, Cleveland, Oklahoma on a farm they owned. His son Suisey by a previous marriage lived with them as did her daughter by her previous marriage, Mary Minor. In 1930, she lived with her son Boney, his wife Delia, and their two children Ruth and Robert, on their farm in Lexington.
