Mrs. Geaslin was born near Caddo, Texas. Julia Geaslin came to Graham, Texas in 1923 from Paducah, Texas. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survived by six daughters - Mrs. Maggie McWhorter, Mrs. Joe Shepard, Mrs. Jennie Chatman, Mrs. Margie Dobbs, Mrs. Helen Sherrell, Mrs. Celesta Crawford; three sons - Clinton Geaslin, Joseph R. Geaslin, John Geaslin; 32 grandchildren; 77 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren; one brother - Henry Thompson; one half-brother - J.C. Thompson.
