Services for Mrs. Julia C. Geaslin, 87, longtime Graham resident were officiated by Rev. Hubert Foust, pastor of First Baptist Church and Rev. W.W. Simpson, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church.
Mrs. Geaslin was born near Caddo, Texas. Julia Geaslin came to Graham, Texas in 1923 from Paducah, Texas. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survived by six daughters - Mrs. Maggie McWhorter, Mrs. Joe Shepard, Mrs. Jennie Chatman, Mrs. Margie Dobbs, Mrs. Helen Sherrell, Mrs. Celesta Crawford; three sons - Clinton Geaslin, Joseph R. Geaslin, John Geaslin; 32 grandchildren; 77 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren; one brother - Henry Thompson; one half-brother - J.C. Thompson.
