Aggie Blanche Hockersmith, age 86, of Benton, passed away Thursday, July 15, 2010. She was born December 8, 1913, in Benton, Arkansas. Mrs. Hockersmith was a retired nurse's aide with the Arkansas Health Center and a member of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Herbert and Martha Collins Moore; two husbands, Clyde Ballard and Bill Hockersmith; brother, Oscar Moore and three sisters, Ruth Stephens, Ludie Barker and Bertie McNeil.
She is survived by her sister, Winifred Garrett and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 17 at Sharon Missionary Baptist Church with burial at McPherson Cemetery in Benton. Bro. Richard Hamlin and Bro. Muncy Harris will be officiating. (from Ashby Funeral Home online obituary)
