He died of pulmonary tuberculosis at 25 years as his father did and so did his mother at a later date.
His first wife was Hazel Elliott born in Delaware about 1903. Her father was Edward Elliott. They were both 17 when they married. His second wife's name was Mildred.
The funeral of the late Otis H. McDaniel, 25 years old, who died Thursday at his home, 218 West Twenty-ninth street, will take place at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon with interment in Riverview Cemetery.
Although Mr. McDaniel had not been well for some time, his condition did not become serious until two weeks ago. He was born and reared in Wilmington and prior to his illness was employed by the Exide Battery Company in Philadelphia.
The deceased is survived by his wife, his mother, Mrs. May L. McDaniel, and one brother, William Edge McDaniel, who also lives in this city.
