Levander Polk "Pope" Goff was the adopted son of Ambers Carroll and Mary Catherine (Neely) Goff. His biological surname may have been Brock.

On Nov. 21, 1873, he married Sarah V. Brim in Cannon County, Tennessee.

Levander and Mary were the parents of five sons;
William Goff - 1875, TN
Osias D. - 1879, TN
Victor Goff - 1884 TX
Hurschel Goff - 1886 TX

And four daughters;
