Florence Cross married Samuel Elzy Horner in 1917 at Pleasants County, West Virginia. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Margie Florence Horner married Dr. George Funchess on December 1922 at Eastland, Texas. The couple moved to Graham in 1933 and left to move to Jacksboro in 1950. He preceded her in death. After his death, she moved to Granbury.

Graveside services were held for Mrs. George Funchess. Her husband was a veterinarian in Graham for many years.

Survived by one daughter - Mrs. Paul "Margaret" Brothers; step-daughters - Mrs. W.A. Lewis, Mrs. K.P. Burks; grandchildren - Mark P. Brothers, Matt T. Brothers, Mrs. Dennis Carroll; five step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters - Mrs. Clara Forbes, Mrs. Dora DeLong; brothers - Ralph Cross, W.H. Cross and Jim Cross.
