EDENTON - Mrs. Bertha Pritchett Harrell, 87, died Wednesday, Aug. 20, 1997, in Chowan Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility.
A native of Tyrrell County, Mrs. Harrell was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Mary Virginia Sawyer Pritchett and the wife of the late Kader Hoskins Harrell. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Patricia H. Weintraub and Mrs. Evelyn H. Powell, both of Edenton, N.C.; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. today in Beaver Hill Cemetery by the Rev. Thomas Biggs. The family will gather at the home of Henry and Evelyn Powell, 206 N. Broad St., Edenton. Memorials may be made to the Chowan Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility. Evans Funeral Home, Edenton, is handling arrangements.
