Dan M. Burge, 83, prominent Blytheville attorney, died Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at Baptist East in Memphis.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Crete Moody Burge, and daughter, Danece Burge.

Mr. Burge received many awards and honors during his law practice of more than 50 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a Bible teacher at First Christian Church.

Funeral Services were held at Carney Funeral Home in Blytheville. Dr. Tommy Carney officiated. Burial was in Dogwood Mausoleum.
