Funeral services for Eldon Alvin Tippery, 62, of Walthill, were held Thursday, March 25, in the Trinity Lutheran Church at Walthill. The Rev. J. G. Werner officiated, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Walthill. Mr. Tippery died Tuesday, March 23, at Pender Communily Hospital. Mr. Tippery was born July 30, 1919, at Macy. He married Ora Wolfe May 31, 1941, in South Sioux City and they farmed near Walthill until 1975 when they moved to town. He worked for Campbell Manufacturing Co. until 1981. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Paul of Pasco, Wash., and Thomas of Walthill, his mother, Mabel Jump of Walthill; five brothers, Earl, Jack and Don, all of Omaha, and Dick and Cliff, both of Walthill; two sisters, Mrs. Franklin (Mary Ellen) Hinkle of South Sioux City and Mrs. Marvin (Dorothy) Nottleman of Walthill and six grandchildren.
