Alice Elizabeth Jones Keith, beloved wife of the late Larry Walter Keith, passed peacefully July 14, 2010 at Heritage Healthcare in her 93rd year.
Loving mother of Virginia Durham (Ben), Ed Keith (Maxine), Sue Madden, and Doris Murphy (Bobby); adoring grandmother to Mike Kircus, Karen Lance, Janet Hedden, Vicky Talley, Ronnie Durham, Nancy White, Linda Raines, Lori Morton, Johnny Durham, Roger Keith, Robin Keith, Carl Madden, Deborah Pilgrim, Tricia McJunkin, Cindy Whitman, Tim Murphy, and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sister to James Jones, Gary Jones, Virgil Byers, Alma Trotter, Earline Evett, and Florence Byers.
She was born in Pickens County to the late Ed Jones and Essie Simmons Jones.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded by daughter Frances Kircus, brother Ivy Jones; sister Jenny Anderson; and grandson Benny Durham.
Mrs. Keith was a homemaker and was a member of Cedar Rock Baptist Church. She was formerly a member of Griffin Baptist Church.
Burial in Griffin Baptist Church Cemetery.
