ATHENS, TX - Services for Edward C. Calvert, 79, Athens, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Cross Roads.
Burial will be in Patterson Cemetery under the direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home, Athens.
Mr. Calvert died July 14, 2010, in Athens.
Mr. Calvert was born March 7, 1931, in Henderson County.
Survivors include a son, James Edward Calvert; grandchildren, Robert Wesley Calvert, Meagan Calvert and Camelia Hamilton; brothers, Robert Calvert and William Calvert; sisters, Mary Rowan and Juanita Autry.
Family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Calvert died July 14, 2010 in Athens.

He was born in Brownsboro March 7, 1931 to Robert Delbert and Lottie Ruth Dewberry Calvert and was a life long resident of Henderson County.

He was employed over 30 years at Curtis Mathes/Harvey Industries.

Edward was preceded in death by wife Catherine L. Calvert, June 29, 2010 and daughter Melinda Ann Calvert.

Survivors include son James Edward Calvert, Athens; grandchildren Robert Wesley Calvert, Athens; Meagan Calvert, Athens; Camelia Hamilton, Ft. Worth; brothers Robert Calvert, Quinlan; William Calvert, Murchison; sisters Mary Rowan and Juanita Autry both of Dallas.

Pallbearers will be Buddy Crutchfield, William Robinett, Billy Robinett, Wade Carter, Ronnie Feagins, Samuel Feagins.

Visitation for family and friends will be 6:30-8:00 P M Friday at Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home
