PATRICIA J. WILHAUCK, 84, of Lafayette, Ind., died Wednesday, July 14, 2010, 2:09 p.m., at Digby House, Lafayette. Born March 12, 1926, in Lafayette, she was a daughter of the late Lucille D. Clegg. She graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High School and Purdue University. On Dec. 26, 1953, she married Joseph Edward Wilhauck, Lafayette; he died on Jan. 22, 2005. She and her husband co-owned Scotch Wash, Lafayette from 1953 to 2005. Prior to that, she taught in the Rochester School Corp. for seven years. She enjoyed collecting elephants. Surviving is a daughter, Bridget (husband, Leo) Vogt of Fort Wayne; a son, Joby (wife, Paula) Wilhauck of Leo; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her three daughters, Tammy, Anita and Molly Wilhauck; and two grandsons, Rudy and Samuel. Visitation is from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. (EST) Saturday, July 17, 2010, at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd., Lafayette, IN. 47909. Graveside service is 4 p.m. (EST) Saturday, July 17, 2010, at St. Boniface Cemetery, with the Rev Dr. Clayton Kendall officiating. Memorials donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
