Isaac was born about 1835.

He served as a Private with the 2nd Delaware Infantry, Company C during the Civil War.

He "Died Of Wounds" received during the Battle of Antietam.

The Cecil Whig, Elkton, Md. 10-25-1862:

Son of Daniel Foreacre, near North East, Md. He was wounded at the late battle of Antietam, on the 17th ult., by a ball in the fleshy part of the thigh. He fell while doing his duty to his country, and fills the grave of a soldier.
