Our loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Kent Peart May, passed away on July 12, 2010 from cancer.
He was born April 25, 1938 in Rupert, Idaho to John and Maba Peart May.
Married Joen Porter on October 5, 1961 in the Logan Temple. Kent served an LDS mission to New Zealand. He retired from Kennecott, where he worked as a railroad Engineer. He loved woodworking, he built rocking horses and cat towers, and enjoyed fishing. His greatest joy was serving others and his family.
Kent is survived by his wife Joen, children: Teresa (Steve) Hall, Eric May, Peggy (Mike) Smith and Verrall Alden May, nine grandchildren, brother Wesley (Flora) May, and sister Carol (Robert) Eddy.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 10:00 a.m. in the Jordan Oaks Second Ward Chapel, 7875 South 4000 West. Friends may call on Sunday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Broomhead Funeral Home, 12600 South 2200 West, and Monday one hour prior to the services at the Church.
Interment: Utah Veteran's Memorial Park.
