Mrs. Nelson was born in Schleswig, Denmark, on January 20, 1880, and came to the United States with her parents when she was one year old. She grew up young womanhood in the Elkhorn vicinity and in 1900 was married to Nelse Nelsen. They lived on a farm near Elkhorn until his death in 1907. She is survived by four sons, Antone, who made his home with his mother; William and Andrew of Dexter; James of Brayton; a daughter, Mrs. Martin E. Hansen of Brayton; and eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. -Anita Tribune, April 12, 1951
