Age 89, native of Jefferson AR, died Wednesday; born to the late A M and Willie Mae Davis; postmaster in Jefferson for 38 years; member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by husband of fifty seven years Marion Chambers, brothers Herman, Curtis, Cecil, and Leonard Davis, and son in law James Garner.
Survivors include daughter Barbara Garner, sister Doris Turbeville, two grandsons, five great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
