ELDORADO, ILL. — Ashlee Brooke Smith, 21, 2320 Bond St., Eldorado, died Friday, July 9, 2010, at Ferrell Hospital, Eldorado.
Services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado with the Rev. David Mays officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at the funeral home.
She was born Feb. 26, 1989, in Evansville, Ind., to Dannie Lee and Teresa Brooke (Dugaro) Smith.
She attended the Eldorado Church of God. She graduated Harrisburg High School in 2007 and went to Southeastern Illinois College in the class of cosmetology. She was a big Chicago Bears fan, loved the outdoors, riding motorcycles, four-sheelers, dirt bikes and horses. The family requests that if you have a picture of Ashlee you would like to bring to the funeral home and place on a memory poster board for the family, please do so.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her paternal grandparents, Jesse "Butch" and Marsha Smith of Harrisburg; maternal grandparents, Steve and Janet Dugaro of Eldorado; a brother, Steven Kyle Smith of Eldorado; two uncles, Tony Dugaro and Kevin Smith; two aunts, Kim Dugaro Curry and Krysta Smith Brasher; and several cousins, including Logan Curry, serving in Afghanistan.
