Services held at the St.Joseph's Catholic Church, with Rev. Robert J. Schimmer officiating.
She graduated from St Joseph's Catholic High School, Salix, in 1955. She married Raymond R. Knight Sept.12, 1959, in Sioux City. She had been employed by Cargill since 1975.She was a member of The St Joseph's Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband; six children, Mrs. Steve (Anietra) Janssen of LeMars, Iowa, Christine, Janelle and Carrie Knight and Mrs. Shannon (Georgianna) Wolf, all of Sioux City, and Mrs. Ralph (Robyn)Wright of El Paso, Texas; eight grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. Bernadette Bertrand of Sioux City; six brothers, Francis, Donald, Merrill and Charles Bertrand, all of Sioux City, Henry Bertrand of Upland, Calif. and Terrance Bertrand of Smithland, Iowa; six sisters, Mrs. John (Arlene) Didiuk of Peoria, Ill., Mrs. James (Amelia) O'Mara of Lake City, Iowa, Mrs. Elmer (Rose) Pearson of Bronson, Iowa, Mrs. Robert (Theresa) Christiansen and Mrs. Paul (Layna) Cuce, both of Santa Maria, Calif., and Mrs. Clarence (Ruth) Larson of Sioux City. She was preceded in death by her father, a sister and brother, and an infant son.
