Paul W. Diem
RED LION — Paul W. Diem, 86, of Leader Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Dallastown, formerly of 104 First Ave., died at 6 p.m. Thursday at the home. He was the husband of the late Jessie R. (McCleary) Diem.
The service will be 10 a.m. Monday at the Burg Funeral Home Inc., 134 W. Broadway. Burial will be in Red Lion Cemetery. Viewing will be an hour before the service Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leo Fire Company, Box 215, Red Lion, 17356.
Born in Lower Windsor Township, Mr. Diem was the son of the late J. Paul and Lydia (Frey) Diem. He was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Red Lion, and a life member of Leo Fire Company. He was retired from Thonet Industries Inc.
He is survived by two daughters, Joyce C. Baldwin, 145 N. Charles St., Red Lion, and Darlene E. Krebs, 1 Wells Drive, New Freedom; a stepson, the Rev. Leon A. McCleary, 131 Center St., Mount Wolf; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Wilhelmina Wallace, York RD 12.
Officiating will be the Rev. Leon A. McCleary, paster of Otterbein United Methodist Church, Mount Wolf.
