Services were May 20 a 1:30 pm at Lebanon Baptist church with burial in Lebanon Cemetery. Bro Faban Clark and Bro W.E. Sharp officiated. McBride Funeral Home was in charge. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lou Etta Richardson Mauney, Ripley; five sons, Jasper Mauney Jr, Lee L. Mauney, C. R. Mauney, Fred Mauney, and Lorenza Mauney, all of Ripley; five daughters, Rosie Sweatman, Julia Koon, Gracie Smith, all of Ripley, Myrtle Glissen Falkner and Birdie Jeter, Durant, MS; two sisters, Mae Childs, Ripley and Icie Childs, Corinth; 28 grandchildren; 17 ggrandchildren. Pallbearers were James Koon, Charles Smith, Dale Glissen, Danny Mauney, Rodney Jeter, Glenn Graham and Billy Mark Duncan.
