James Oliver (half-brother) (1879-1879), Sarah (1882-1955), John Chadwick (1883-1969), Margaret (1887-1887), Mary (1888-1984), Jennie (1890-1891), Edward Kirkwood (1892-1979), Glen (1894-1962), Lucy (1896-1986), Eliza Ileen (1899-1904), Elizabeth Ann (Twin) (1901-1990), Agnes Lisle (Twin) (1901-1907) and Alice (1904-1961).
Married Hazel Elizabeth Young (1887-1967) on October 5, 1914 in Los Angeles, California. Enjoyed 52 years of marriage until her death. They never had children.
Bill and Hazel are remembered as strong community pioneers by many long-time residents in Stewart, British Columbia, Canada. They were prominent civic and business leaders during Steward's early years of growth. Bill served as volunteer fire chief and sanitary inspector. He also volunteered and assisted in the promotion of town baseball games, parties, dances and other social events.
Bill and Hazel acquired considerable real estate and business interest throughout the area. They were active in the Moose Lodge to help promote civic and business activities in both Stewart and the neighbor town of Hyder, Alaska. Bill's help even extended to area prospectors. He would take time to go throughout propsecting camps to see if there were any sick he could help or provide other assistance.
