William was born and raised in New Milford. He married his first wife, Anna, there and they had 3 children. After Anna died, William married Elizabeth Buck; they had no children. William removed to Roxbury, CT sometime between 1840 and 1850. He, his second wife, Elizabeth and son, Sheldon Baker Camp, are all buried at Roxbury.
