SCHROEDER, Lorraine Passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at Grand River Hospital, K-W Health Centre. Lorraine resided in New Hamburg and was born there 83 years ago. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Minnie (Forler) Bingeman. Beloved wife of Carl Schroeder with whom she celebrated 55 years of marriage. Loving mother of Mark and wife Liz Schroeder of Waterdown, David Schroeder and Paula Wilkie of Wellesley and John Schroeder of London. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Helen, Carl, Brodie and Todd. Dear sister-in-law of Giesela Bingeman of Kitchener, Morris and wife Evelyn Schroeder of Tavistock, Lorna and husband Harold Struthers, Norma and husband Robert Robichaud all of Cambridge. Lorraine was predeceased by her brothers Robert and wife Genoeva Bingeman, Larry and wife Leona Bingeman, Reg and wife Tina Bingeman, sister-in-law Beulah and husband Lorne Grube and brother-in-law Harold Schroeder. Lorraine was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, New Hamburg and enjoyed volunteering at the New Hamburg Thrift Store. In keeping with Lorraine's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Lorraine's life will take place on Friday, July 16, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 23 Church Street, New Hamburg, Ontario N3A 1J1 with Pastor Anne Anderson officiating. Interment in Riverside Cemetery, New Hamburg. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or Trinity Lutheran Church.
