Mrs. Mildred Brown Bean, 83, of 7811 Troy Fisher Road, died Sunday, May 3, 2009, in Bethesda Health Care Facility. Mrs. Bean was preceded in death by her husbands, Mac McLeod and Robert Bean. She was a retired employee of Cumberland County schools. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lafayette Memorial Park with Dr. Milton Little and the Rev. Belinda Davis officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside service. She is survived by a daughter, Linda Pugh and her husband, Jimmy, of Fayetteville; three grandchildren, Lorrie Whalen and her husband, Brian, Jimmy Pugh Jr. and his wife, Cathy, and Robert David Pugh and his wife, Jamie; and a great-grandson, Zachary Whalen.
