Norway, Dickinson, Michigan
CANTRILL - On Monday, 24th August, John Cantrill, aged 8 years, and on Tuesday afternoon, William Cantrill, 2 years of age, both sons of Mr. and Mrs. James Cantrill, East Vulcan. Both sons and others of the family have been ill with scarlet fever, and with the two above mentioned the disease proved fatal. They were bright, promising lads and their untimely death brings an overabundance of sorrow to the home of their parents. The other child which was ill with fever, is we are pleased to learn, improving. The remains were buried at Norway cemetery, the first on Tuesday and the second on Wednesday afternoon, services being held at the residence by Rev. T. Edwards, of the Methodist Episcopal Church. The parents of the children have the sympathy of the community.
